JustFab Blake Boots.

Recently I bought these Blake boots from JustFab.com in the color Cognac. Now when I ordered them they were $19.95 and they were regularly $59, so i thought that was a deal that I just could not pass up. This color is unfortunately sold out but they do still have them in the Stone, which is like a dirty grey color. I'm waiting for Fall so I can start wearing the hell out of these boots but until then I'm fine with coming up with outfit ideas to wear with the boots.

Here are some ideas for outfits that you can pair the boots with. I personally would only wear them in Fall,Winter, and Spring, but I know a lot of people that still wear them in Summer with a cute pair of shorts.

My Summer Hair Care Products.

Usually over the summer I get pretty obsessed with getting my hair healthy and helping it grow, especially recently since going away to college. With that being said here are some of the products that I have been using this summer to help repair my hair and keep it healthy.

First is the group of products are Organix Nourishing in Coconut Milk. The ones that I have are the Shampoo, Condition, Instant Repair Treatment, and the Leave-In Nourishing Milk. These products, as well as the others in the Organix brand are perfect for all hair types. I decided to try these out after seeing reviews about it on Youtube and seeing as a lot of people said that Coconut oil is good for your hair, I figured that these products would work as well. Out of these 4 products my favorite one was the Instant Repair Treatment. Most of the times you have to use a product for awhile to see a change but justing using the Instant Repair once I had already seen and felt a difference on my hair, it was breaking less and had very few split ends. The shampoo lathers up really well, better than any other shampoo I had tried in the past and with both the regular conditioner and leave-in conditioner,  leaves my hair feeling very soft and smooth. And I'm not a huge fan of coconuts and their smell but the products didn't have a strong, over powering coconut scent, it was the right amount. Also recently I found out that the brand Organix had a Biotin and Collagen range which I'm excited to try out soon.

Next is Aussie, I purchased the products in the Moist line, the Shampoo, Conditioner, and the 3-minute miracle, which is a deep conditioner. I love, love, love these products. I feel that when I usually wash my hair myself that it feels rather dry and that's why I decided to try out these products and again with using these I felt a difference right after I stepped out the shower. My hair didn't feel dry, it felt soft like when I go to the salon. I love the smell of the line, I don't really know exactly how to describe it but to me kind of smells like fruit candy with like a faint smell of coconut but overall I love what it did for my hair. When it finishes these are products that I will definitely re-purchase.

Lastly is the L'Oreal Everstrong Sulfate-free Reconstruction Shampoo and Conditioner. I kept hearing that Sulfate-free Shampoo's are the way to go but for me I didn't really see the hype of any difference in using these. For one, they didn't lather up as well I wanted to, so I ended up using more product then I typically would. For me the bubbles are a sign that my hair is getting clean and without it I just feel like it just wet up my hair with water and it's still oily. The smell isn't exactly my favorite, it smell like cooking herbs, the shampoo is Rosemary and Juniper and the conditioner is Rosemary and Mint. I did although like the feel that the mint in the conditioner left on my scalp but I just wish it had more of a fruiter fragrance. But overall I would just use these in-between major washes to "wash" my hair and kind of give it a break from the shampoos and conditioners with sulfate in them.

Overall I would say that these products are good to use for all hair types it just really depends on what your looking for in the products. But if there are any hair products you think I should try out or any tips and tricks you have just comment them below.

Single of the Week.

Baby I - Ariana Grande

I've been following Ariana for awhile on YouTube and Twitter and her vocals are absolutely amazing. I'm not gonna lie at first when she came out with her song "Put Your Hearts Up" I was nervous for her about how far she would go because her voice is so powerful for what I'd call "just another pop song". But when she came out with "The Way" and now this song "Baby I", I can see the route that she's going is a 90's R&B kinda feel and I think its perfect for her voice and exactly what the industry needs right now. The only way to describe her vocals is a baby Mariah Carey but with an Ariana Grande twist. When I first heard this song I had a strong feeling that Babyface had something to do with it, which was confirmed in the credits. And I love the key change towards the end because that definitely reminds me of 90's R&B music. I'm really looking forward to the rest of Ariana's album, her song "Almost Is Never Enough" with Nathan Sykes, which has a Boys II Men and Mariah Carey feel to it, which you can hear a preview here and whatever else she might have in store for her fans.

Gel Manicure. (Update)

Over this past week I finally decided to try a gel manicure, I've heard so much about it for awhile so I decided to give it a go. I went to a nail salon near my grans house in Mt.Vernon, Grace Nails and I feel that they did an okay job. I payed $25 which, when I looked it up, was the average charge. The only complaint that I have, have absolutely nothing to do with the actual process but more so as to how they did it. I feel like it came out a bit sloppy because it was like the lady that did it was rushing to finish. But I'm on Day 2 and still looks pretty good as it did when I stepped out the nail salon. Here are a few pictures of what it currently looks like.....

It's still looking shiny and gloss with no chipping yet, and I even washed the dishes, which would normally be when I kiss my manicure goodbye. But overall I'm enjoying it and I'm also gonna keep updating on how it's holding up week by week. So keep a look out.....

Single(s) of the Week.

This week I have 3 songs that I have been obsessing over,

The first one is Miss Movin' On by Fifth Harmony.....

I've liked Fifth Harmony since they were put together during Season 2 of The X-Factor, and with that I can see how much they have grown since their first performance together to now. Honestly these girls can sing, check out there cover of Lego House by Ed Sheeran, here. But this song is so good and catchy for a first single, it's also good enough to be a hit single but you can also see that it wont be a one hit. With this song we'll be able to see their growth vocally and them grow as a group. This maybe a comeback for Girl Groups.

The next one is a bit different, its Trampoline by Tinie Tempah and 2 Chainz.......

I heard this song about 2 weeks ago on Capital Fm and just couldn't get it out of my head. Then when I saw that lyric video I just knew that the song was going to sick with me. I'm actually excited to see how that actual video turns out considering I thought that the lyric was that real thing. But it's such a catchy song and it's just one of those songs that makes you want to dance because of the party/club beat that it has to it. I, personally, have a hard time listening to anything rap related but I know a good song when I hear one and this is one. I feel that this song could be a huge summer hit as well as Tinie Tempah's chance to come back and do something big over here in America again.

And last but not least Zendaya's Replay.....

I was honestly very skeptical about giving this song a listen because I've seen so many good singers that sign to Hollywood Records (aka Disney's label) and the songs turn out to be annoying cheesy songs. But honestly when I heard this song I was impressed. I really like Zendaya's vocals on this song and I love that the song can be taken in different ways. Depending on how your listening to it, it can sound like a mature song, by the end of it I actually forgot that she was signed to Hollywood Records because it sounded so different from what they usually make their artists release. All in all, I love this song and if this song is anything what her album is gonna be like then she may just go very far, for a Disney signed artist.

Single of the Week.

Burn - Ellie Goulding

I am some what obsessed with this song. Since I heard it and saw the video Sunday night I've pretty much had it on repeat ever since. I love the beat of this song and I love Ellie's voice on it as well. I really love the video as well because it matches the song spot-on. This song to me is what I'd like to call as a "night out anthem", one that when your enjoying a night out you can't help but belt out with all your friends at the top of your lungs. I can't wait to hear this song live and see what she does with it and how amazing her vocals will sound.

Hopefully you'll love this song as much as I do.

Up And Coming : Rixton.

So I just gonna say this now, I have a thing for male singers; solo, groups, bands. And one band in particular that I have been in love with lately is Rixton. If you haven't heard of them they are a 4-piece Pop/R&B band from the UK who went from posting covers on youtube to now being managed by Scooter Braun and working on their debut album.
But until any kind of original music is released they still post covers on their YouTube page.
These are 2 of my favorites ......
And.....

I honestly see big things happening for these boys.....
                                                        This is just the beginning.
