The American Dream Tour.

So let's just rewind to a random Saturday in May.
I was catching up on some shows and scrolling through Twitter when I saw I tweet about winning concert tickets. Like many others I retweeted it just for the hell of it even though I think those contest are next to impossible to win.
An hour or so later my phone kept going off. I didn't pay it much mind at first but after awhile I was really curious as to the reason why. It was then I realized that I had won.
I was so shocked and excited.
I checked my DM, did what I was told to do, gave in my information and picked a date.

Now fast forward to August 7th, the day of the show. I headed downtown to meet up with my friend and from there we made our way down to the venue.
The only thing of the night that could have went more smoothly was when the started to let everybody into the venue. We started going in minutes before the first opening act went on and because there are always problems at Will Call we ended up missing their set.

Out of the 2 opening acts that we did get to see our favorite was definitely Action Item. Before they performed I had no idea who they were but they know how to hype up a crowd and put on a show. Their music was catchy, so even if you didn't know their music by the end you were bobbing along to the song. They also interacted with the audience which is a huge plus from me. If they ever go on tour again I would go see them.

Half an hour or so later was the moment every one was waiting for, which was also being streamed on Yahoo for everyone else to see.
They opened with Could Be Me.
They also performed Forever Until Tomorrow, American Dream, No More Second Chances, Heartbreak Holiday, Nowhere, Hide Your Girl, Get My Way, Goodbye Song, Classic, and an acoustic version of Nico and Vinz's song Am I Wrong, ending the night with them singing Thank You as their encore. Here are a couple shitty quality photos and videos from the night.

Overall they put on an amazing show from Tony playing the piano to both Tony and Malcolm playing the drums, them wetting up the crowd with water bottles and water guns to them almost jumping into the crowd and anything else in between that I may have forgotten to add, It was a great night.
Now I'm counting down the days until I get to see the perform again on Demi's World Tour.

What was favorite concert you went to this summer ?
What are some that your looking forward to for the fall ?

Review : L'Oreal Total Repair.

Recently, during my trip to the supermarket and running out of my Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner, I decided to pick up something new.

After spending about a good 10-15 minutes staring at the different bottle to choose which one would be best for me, I eventually made up my mind and decided to go with the L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm. And because I am the type of person who can't just pick up the conditioner without picking up the set I also got the Total Repair Extreme Reconstructing Shampoo and Conditioner (I haven't actually used the conditioner yet but based on these 2 I'm pretty sure it will work just fine.)

The thing that attracted me the most to this set was that it is directed to repairing and reconstructing dry, chemically treated hair. It's suppose to fight split ends, weak, rough, dull and dehydrated hair. And with me getting a relaxer and adding heat to my hair anytime I washed it I figured my hair would fall under this category.

Once I shampooed and deep conditioned my hair with the balm I had already felt a difference. I came out the shower and my hair felt a lot soft. I didn't see this until I really read that bottle that it can repair up to 1 years of damage in 1 use.

I have now been using both these products for about 2 and a half months. I can honestly see where it has helped repair my hair. It's softer, shinier, stronger, has less split ends and I noticed that when I comb or brush my hair I find less hairs in the brush or on the floor.

After using this shampoo and conditioner for awhile, I definitely recommend trying it out if your looking to repair your damaged and/or over-processed hair. That doesn't mean I've completely abandoned my Organix Shampoo and Conditioner, I just switch them out every once in while. But when these products are done I'm definitely going to repurchase.

What are your "go-to", always have to have shampoo and conditioner ?
What are some other hair products that have completely turned you hair around ? Is there anything else I should try ?
